When you say encryption, what exactly do you mean? I'm having a
problem with an app that will not launch on Leopard and we have no
idea why. I do compress stacks and decompress them, and my scripts
are password protected. Is any of this what you mean by encryption?

I tried it with a G4 iMac running Tiger 10.4.11 and it doesn't run
there either.
The only problems I've had with running in Leopard is when using
encryption or the metal interface.
