Hi Ian,

In most document-based applications on Mac OS X, you will find a 16x16 px icon in the title bar. If the document is saved the icon is bright and draggable. If the document is not saved, the icon is grayed out and is not draggable. This is a very useful feature, that I miss very much in Revolution.

And then there is the circle in the red close box, which has been mentioned already.

Best regards,

Mark Schonewille

Just wondering how people normally show that a file needs to be saved.

This is for an OS X-only app, so ideally I'd like to show a darker blob in the red 'close' button in the titlebar, but this doesn't seem to be an option in Rev without rebuilding the titlebar...

Other suggestions? The titlebar of the doc window shows "Application Name: Document Name" so I may add * to the end, but this seems mostly to be a Windows convention.

Ian
