And to further continue the discussion I would like to
point out I am unable to use the PDFServices on my
computer for some strange reason.
I contacted DEVONtechnologies Support and below
was the help I received. Anyone know how to make
it work and what I might be doing wrong if anything
at all.

Hi, John:
Works for me. I'm running a ModBook (Intel) under Leopard 10.5.2.
TextEdit can open a PDF file that contains text and display the text
content.
After installing Services you likely need to logout/login or restart
to initialize them.
Note that if you have installed Unsanity's Application Enhancer, and
especially their ShapeShifter hack, you may experience all kinds of
problems, especially with PDFs.

To script this in REV might be hard only because there is no set
rule to the address of the converted version from the original
version. However this might be somewhat useful in dealing with the
PDF revBrowser issue in that a version can be displayed in HTML for
most online documents.
