Do you mean the character palette? If you know how to do it, it is
very simple:
tell application "Finder"
open item
"System:Library:Components:CharacterPalette
.component:Contents:SharedSupport:CharPaletteServer" of the startup disk
end tell
Mind line wraps. This should work in Tiger and Leopard. Courtesy of
