Yes, have used earlier versions. Its the commercial version of Wine. Works fine, when it does, but not on everything. I have not noticed it being materially better than Wine. If it will not run on Wine, I have not been able to make it run on Codeweavers. It may be easier to manage than Wine. Often apps work, but with oddities. Eg Filemaker, I recall having problems with fonts. Office and Photoshop will work ok, certified apps will work ok.
