Hi Hugh,

On the Mac, text clippings are created automatically. I guess you are on Windows. I believe that the new drag and drop commands make it possible to retrieve the dragDestination and create a text file by means of a script, using this dragDestination. I don't know whether Windows is able to do this by itself and I haven't created a text file after a D&D myself yet.

Hi Mark,

Not here it doesn't... Selecting text in a field and simply draging to the
desktop has no effect. I am looking for a text file to be created.

Hi Hugh,

Just select the text and drag it. It is a standard feature for all
editable fields.

I am looking at allowing users to drag and drop selected text to the
desktop
(i.e. outside the Rev environment). Has anyone done this?
