though you brought me the third shell tool for Mac: "ditto".
Perhaps you could give me a hint, what the difference / advantage
from ditto
to zip or tar is, or why you are using ditto instead of zip or tar?
Simply because "ditto" is some kind of allround tool.
It can copy, unzip and zip files and folders with or without the Mac
resource fork,
so why use something else once you figured out the correct syntax? ;-)
