The only reference I can find is in BZ #6235, wherein Mark Waddingham
states:

"For the final release of 3.0, I've added something to work around
this issue. In the startup of your application (the on startup
handler, or the preOpenStack of your initially loading stack) you need
to issue the command:

  set the revRuntimeBehaviour to 4

This will turn off the creation of 'Unicode' windows, thus allowing
you to set the window titles of stacks with players on them
correctly."
