Hi Dave,

If it doesn't have to be as sophisticated as blowfish --or if you want to put a lot of effort into it-- you can write your own encryption funciton. For a client of Economy-x-Talk, I made a simple encryption/ decryption function, which is easily portable to other programming languages and doesn't need Enterprise.

Bonjour Dave,

Just two thoughts:
1. You misspelled cipherNames (adding a 's').
2. You need Rev Enterprise to access encryption.

I have a need to encrypt some data before sending it to a server. I looked at the encrypt and decrypt documentation but don't understand how to make it work. There is a property called "ciptherNames" which is supposed to contain a list of ciphers. However, when I do the following:

put the ciphersNames

in the message box, I just get an empty string returned,

Is there any further information on how to use these functions? The application need to run under MacOS X 10.4 and 10.5. Some sample code would be brilliant!
