Hi there,
I need to read out $appdata on XP. As long as there are no Umlauts all
is fine. As soon as there is an umlaut it breaks:
Username: ßäöütz é
specialfolderpath(26): C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/ßäöütz é/
Anwendungsdaten
$appdata: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\á„”tz
‚\Anwendungsdaten
I need $appdata, because the path for specialfolderpath(26) does not
necessariely exist in a citrix environment.
Any ideas how to make sense out of the gibberish?
