It converts json objects to revolution arrays, and revolution arrays to json objects.

If you're unfamiliar with json objects, they're a quite common way of turning complex in-memory data structures (such as arrays) into text strings that can be easily transmitted across networks, or for exchange of data between different systems.

They can be used as a lightweight (smaller, simpler) alternative to XML.
