Hi Tiemo,
Are you sure that you mean an option menu button? If I try to change
colours of an option menu button in Mac OS X 10.5.6, all I can change
is the colour of the label. I don't think that one is supposed to
change the colpour of native objects.
You could try to use a pulldown menu button. If you set the threeD to
false and add colour to it, it is no longer native. You will need to
make sure that the button is opaque to see the fillcolor.
