I bought the bundle earlier today. If another thousand people buy the bundle another package gets added to it, making the $40 bundle include about $900 of software. Of course, you would want to be sure of using at least $40 worth of value of the apps, but World of Goo alone is nearly that worthwhile!
Also, look at Wiretap Studio. An excellent, stable, consumer-level audio editor with the added capability of audio capture/ scheduled audio capture and conversion to all common formats. I had used Wiretap Pro in the past, but this application offers much more. -And I haven't really checked out any of the other apps yet!
