RapidWeaver is created by Realmac Software and they have a regular upgrade cycle and a very active user base with plenty of themes and plugins being developed all the time, as well as great assistance available on the forums. Realmac is a UK based company, SmithMicro are their US publishers, but from what I can tell, they have NOT acquired the company. While it is a very easy-to-use web site creator with many nice templates, it also allows insertion of code snippets into pages, so I see no problem using it to create pages that include rev tags.
