Usually in either the user's preferences folder, or in the user or
system Application Support folder. It is your choice.
User Prefs folder path can be obtained with specialFolderPath("preferences")
The user's Application Support folder is at: ~/Library/Application Support/
The system Application Support folder is at: /Library/Application Support/
