Many moons ago, Richard Gaskin added an enhancement request to the
'Quality Control' list - number 3339
"It would be handy to have a Dock menu for OS X, and perhaps the
same syntax would also provide a right-click menu for Windows."
Is there currently any way to put a menu into a Docked icon? When
holding the cursor down on the Mail icon in the Dock a menu appears
(it also appears in the menubar under 'Windows' as 'OS X Dock Menu'
Anybody know the magic sauce that will let me do that?
check the "Engine Change Log.txt" file in the Rev folder and search for:
"Currently Unsupported Features" (unsupported for about two or three
years now???!!!)
There you will find "the icon" and "the iconmenu" which might be what
you are after.
