Hi Sarah,

That doesn't work if the volume is unavailable. I tried it and got an error.

Sivakatirswami,

Does this work for you?

tell application "Finder"
mount volume "afp://username:[email protected]/Volume/PathToFolder "
end tell

In the Script Editor, run this script:

tell application "Finder"
        choose folder

and select the folder you want. Then check exactly what it gives you
as the result.
I just did that and then opening it worked fine, so the most likely
thing is a tiny error in your file path.

Cheers,
Sarah
