Horst,
it might be that your preferences stack broke in the update. try this
in msg:
put the effective filename of stack "revPreferences"
Note that path and quit rev. Remove the file from there and relaunch
rev. Does it make things any better?
Also, if that doesn´t help, what does
put the messageMessages
return for you?
