Terry,
No trial for tRev at this time, Terry. I'll let you know if there is
one. I have never had good luck with trials as a developer of script
editors for Revolution.
What's wrong with the native script editor for Rev 4.0? If you want to
stay with a modal debugger, it's a fine choice.
If you want a modeless debugger, then the tRev decoder is pretty nice,
too. We all have our preferences. We aren't looking to get every Rev
user to switch to tRev, only one thousand of them. And I sincerely
want them to be happy with the product. So, I work very hard on it.
I know GLX2 is very powerful (manly, too), but since it doesn't touch
any of Rev's data or objects, I wonder how it broke Rev's debugger?
Perhaps you meant to say that with GLX2 running, Rev's debugger
wouldn't run?
Best,
Jerry Daniels

How about the debugger? It broke in 3.5 and apparently broke Rev's

I can
now use the 'continue' button in the Rev debugger without freezing or
crashing Rev. Despite all the good things said about tRev and my
good (pre
3.5) experiences with GLX2 I'd still like the option to try tRev
before
buying (to see if I can live with a 'decoder' rather than a debugger).

Will GLX 2 be updated to work with Revolution 4?
Is there something that's not working for you? I'm using glx2 with
rev
4 with no problems...
