It is a by now essential part of a range of REST based web services - for
instance in the Google API's if you want to delete a ceel or a row in a
spredsheet you issue and http DELETE not a GET or a PUT. Unfortunately
Google would not let me program Rev CGI's on their servers - though I am
hoping this will change.
