Update has never worked in Linux - at least since before 2.6.1. So if it now shows what is available, even if it will not download it, it is making progress, it didn't even use to do that.
Yes, I've found that curious as well. In my own work with Rev on Linux I've found no issue which would prevent me from downloading stacks and decompressing their contents as easily there as on the other two supported platforms, so I can't imagine why that update mechanism on Linux is so oddly lacking.
I couldn't find an RQCC report for this so I just filed one: <http://quality.runrev.com/qacenter/show_bug.cgi?id=8707> -- Richard Gaskin Fourth World Rev training and consulting: http://www.fourthworld.com Webzine for Rev developers: http://www.revjournal.com revJournal blog: http://revjournal.com/blog.irv _______________________________________________ use-revolution mailing list [email protected] Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
