Every few months, Randall interjects into a thread, which immediately swerves off-topic, escalates, and pisses off a bunch of people. Every time it happens, a few people swear they will never talk to him again. Mostly they don't. Unfortunately, each time it happens, new people get sucked in and the whole thing repeats itself.
