Unfortunately step 1 in their peace plan shows a frightening lack of technical knowledge, and the other points aren't much better. :-(

VP6 and Spark would both have to be decoded on the CPU, leading to *exactly* the kind of battery draining performance that Jobs complained about. h264 plays acceptably on mobiles because they have dedicated h264-decoding chips built in. Plus as far as I'm aware Mobile Safari doesn't have a plug-in architecture in the first place...
