"Just hit delete" is like saying "opt-out". The noise level does get high here, and that's the reason for the complaints. This is not a forum, it's a linear mail list - like a freeway on-ramp - one at a time, and it does requires a bit more netiquette, like trimming posts and keeping down the OT.
