Dear Emmanuel Companys, Please bear the following points in mind: 1. If the phonetics programs are going to de delivered from a CD-ROM or over a NETWORK onto Macintosh computers all the JPEG files have to be converted into internal bitmap files:
Open the paint tools in RR and use the ersaer to click each image, then, immediately click undo: this converts all images into internal bitmap format. However this means that the files grow to about twice their original size. For Windows this problem should not arise.... If the standalones are going to be installed onto actual Macintosh computers you do not need to convert the graphics. If you are running Mac OS 8.6-9.2.2 it seems best to make Mac OS X standalones and then make sure that your machines have Carbon Library 1.6 installed. 2. Please ask your friend to let me know how many copies are being used and where: this is merely for my curriculum vitae.
