well, in my language gratuit = nemokamas, libre = laisvas (~4000 000 speakers only) and, as far as I know, in Russian (безплатный & свободный) you can not translate English word "free" without knowing the exact context it is used in because meanings of these two words never intersect. Strangely we still have prime between 2 and 4 ;-)
