Peter,

Rodeo users do their development on our site in concert with our revServer
CGIs. They are used to translate the Rodeo definitions into
HTML5/CSS3/Javascript and to lock/unlock definitions so users can work together
on a project without trampling on each others definitions.

Shortly, users will ALSO be able to deploy their creations to any server that
has PHP. At that point there is no definition translation and therefore no need
to have revServer involved.

Development and deployment are not mutually exclusive, therefore your
understanding is askew.

Best,

Jerry Daniels
