What constitutes a "platform" in the case of the *nixs anyway? Do I need
different licenses for each flavor?
If you are talking about Express, yes, you would need separate licenses. Express is intended for hobbyists and similar users. Note that apps built with Express have a built-in Revolution closing screen.
But in this case you should be considering Studio instead, which builds for all of them.
