developers may not want to promote Revolution. Simply put, Revolution is a
very serious competitive advantage. Such programmers may only want Rev to
barely survive.
Paul Graham has made the exact same point in some detail regarding his tool of choice: LISP. He regards it as the secret weapon that allowed his company to be successful against larger competitors.
That said, I don't think any of us are currently at risk of the market being flooded with Revolution developers. When Revolution reaches the market penetration of, say, Apple, then there may be cause for concern.
