I've avoided copy-protection schemes based on limited-time demos because it's usually not too hard to find where the timeout info is stored and just alter/delete it.
But now I have a need for such a scheme, but no confidence in any of the methods I've found thus far. Do any of you rely on time limits for your demos? If so, how do you store your timeout data in a way that won't be reset easily?
