No, it isn't hard to send emails using Rev. You need to open a socket to the POP server, send & receive the various commands, then send your email, before logging off & closing the socket.
I have been working (on & off) on a POP library which is not yet ready for public consumption, but if you want me to send you a POP example stack, just contact me off-list.
