The question is in the subject ;-)
When one puts a stack on a web site, there are two choices:
-- a simple stack but the web site visitor has to download a runtime* to run the stack
-- a standalone but the size will be very large, sometimes for a simple utility (I don't like real basic apps for this very reason ;->)
definitively stacks.
Couldn't have said it better than Scott R. :-)
* as for the runtime, can I redirect visitors to Revolution web site, or ??
Please remember that RR unfortunately changed the behaviour of the app when doubleclicking a *.rev file...
In version >=2 this will lauch the complete IDE.
Hold the cmd-key when doubleclicking a rev-file and only this file will be shown...
Don't know why they changed it, but it makes using RR as a "player"-app a bit harder...
Oooops ;-), this thought IS obsolete at all, since there is no free StarteKit anymore...
