No, you can do it with scripts.

create stack "myExample"

 From there, it is just a matter of setting all the properties you want:
width, height, label, etc.

Thanks very much. After finding nothing under 'new' (I was trying to imitate the IDE's 'New Mainstack' menu item), I had looked up 'create' in the TD, but it said:

no mention of stacks. Turns out there is **another** TD entry for 'create stack'. I think this is a minor bug in the docs, myself - but I suppose it's arguable.
