OK but would you want the end-user to be able to edit the text. Or would
something that can display complex documents (like a PDF viewer or browser
built into rev) with the display field being 'locked' (of course you would

I'm really looking for the ability to apply paragraph level formatting on the fly - ie take some plain text, put it into a fld and then format it (indents, alignment, tabs etc on a paragraph by paragraph basis) through scripting. While not wanting to hold Director up as something to aspire to, I reckon it provides about the right level of text formatting control. And no, I don't need the user to be able to physically manipulate text formatted in this way.
