Sorry for the OT post, but I know there are lots of Windows experts on this list. If you can help, please email me off-list :-)

I have a third-party application that needs to run every night and shutdown every morning. I can run it fine using Scheduled items, but that doesn't have any options to stop programs, just to run them (at least as far as I could work out).

Is there a shell command that I could save in a file and have that file run every morning to stop the application?
