I agree. An intrepid plugin tinkerer might be able to implement this in the mean time. It might be possible to put such image data on the stack packed into a string.
(I have seen other cases in which transparency is lost, but I don't know enough about Revolution images to guess why. I suspect they are being coerced to an image type they should not be coerced to.)
Another good one would be the ability to paste images from other apps as actual size. Now that might take an external to help, I don't know.
