Rev was not designed to be multi-user because it saves preferences into components/save/revpreferences.rev, and probably other config files need to be writeable there also. Supposedly in a future release they are going to move everything into proper user locations like ~/preferences like ~/application support.
You might be able to grant sufficiently open permissions to get it to work, but your best bet is just give each user their own copy of Revolution.
