An alternative to the one pixel editing of an image proposed by Scott Raney a while ago :^) (to keep the transparency of an image in this case) is the use of the export command. (works for me)
export img < imagename > to aVar as PNG -- or RLE set the text of img < imagename > to aVar
(don't forget to save)
