But if you have the right pictures, won't these look exactly like the checkboxes you want? Do these do things that you don't want, like move or highlight or something?
I'm just lazy :-) I know what I want is available in the Mac interface, so I don't see why I should bother to re-create it. I also find it conceptually simpler to check for "the hilite = true" or "the hilite = mixed" rather than "the icon = 12345".
