I don't know where the original message went to this, but there is emulation software that emulates a 68k environment, so installing a classic system would work. I know this, because I've installed system 8 on my p4 laptop before. Was it fun? no, but it worked. Basilisk ][. enjoy all ye daring!

ummm.... there is no such thing as 'Mac Emulation Software' - Apple would never license the firmware...and if I had such Draconian requirements for a class, I'd change schools...
