This "Select Group", "Edit Group", etc. is very counterintuitive (especially when the hilite of the Select Group button must be FALSE to select the whole group). Perhaps in Rev. 3.0 it will be clearer, maybe the choices should be: "Select Whole Group" and "Select Parts of Groups".
