This works in Mac OSX.
a repeat with a couple of groups, then:
put globalLoc(the loc of group h) into myLoc set the screenMouseLoc to myLoc
Any one else see this?

No problem here on Windows XP, for example with
"set the screenmouseloc to globalloc(the loc of btn 2)"
