Enlighten me please.
Of what earthly value is an index in an electronic book you can search? Isn't an index sort of redundant? I've never once seen a PDF book with an index I thought was at all useful.
The printed version does have an index, by the way.

One thing that is sorely missing in the PDF version (and I assume, thus, in the printed version) of the first volume is an index. I hope that when the third volume is complete it will include an index for the entire set.

I've been trying for several days to buy the downloadable
(electronic/PDF) version of Dan Shafer's book but cannot find a link
that takes me to where it is available. All links I have found are for
the hardcopy version which is a) not immediately available and b) more
expensive.
And c) says it comes with a CD but it doesn't. I've brought this up with
Runrev and they're looking into it.
