I'm doing this all the time with tab-delimited data, so it works here (at least for tabs).
I knew custom item delimiters work, so my question wording was a little off. The problem, as Sarah said, is when using custom line delimiters. The "sort lines of" part doesn't work with those. I worded it better in Bugzilla.
