How can I make this short & sweet?

If you are not comfortable with Transcript syntax, then don't use Runtime Revolution. There are a host of people here that do, and many of us don't share your view the succinct, cryptic syntax al la C is the be-all and end-all example of what a programming language should be.

Kevin Miller has assured this group that Runtime Revolution will not abandon its xTalk roots by trying to shoe-horn C syntax into Transcript.
