Rev 2.2; Mac OS X 10.3.3; QT 6.5
Create new stack.
Add new player to stack.
Set source to audio file (tried both AIFF and mp3).
Controller does not appear (even though player is set to show controller and is visible).
Cannot start player via message box either.
Hmmm, works here for me with any QT compatible audio/video file: Rev 2.2; Mac OS X 10.3.3; QT 6.5

Must be something else, but i have no idea...
It would be useful to pin down the recipe. Here, with OS X 10.3.3 on a 1GHz PowerBook G4 I see the same issue Kurt reports.
If any of you see this behavior please add your system info to the Bugzilla report, along with any other info that might be helpful for diagnosing this.
