Look at the htmlText property of the field and see if that looks parse-able and usable. If you can pull out the html for that section you can then set the htmlText of the other field with that. Watch for possibly going in and out of grey.
Another approach would be to go through every character, look at its color and then copy that and then the style, font etc. over.
