MacOS doesn't support focusing on a button control.
This was true in all versions of Mac OS until Panther, making it impossible to be compliant with the requirements of Section 508, the US federal accessibility guidelines which require software to allow all controls to be accessible from the keyboard.
Fortunately this has been corrected in Panther (see the Keyboard panel in System Preferences: there's now an item labeled "Turn on full keyboard access").
Unfortunately, Rev's tranversalOn does not currently honor this setting on Mac OS.
Whether or not you deliver software to the blind or other groups for whom this feature is critical, if you have a chance at US government procurement know that until this feature is in place your Mac product in many cases cannot be considered for government purchases until this is supported.
