I think it's not necessarily a function of the number of cards,
but the fact that you have "mark any card" which means Rev needs to generate
a randomly-picked card to mark and then mark it. If you always marked cards
1-1000 regardless of the number of total cards, you probably would see very
little difference in speed, IMHO.

Then why does it take longer to unmark all cards? There is only one marked card regardless of stack size.
