No, it wasn't logged in Bugzilla. I emailed Tuviah directly about it and he was going to look into it (I believe he was working on XP themes at the time). I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Revolution since the technique I use to do the transparency works on other applications under XP.
Once that is fixed then I believe it would be possible to do some sort of alpha mask based on a PNG image or something similar. I haven't had time to sit down and figure out how to do this but it would be a cool feature to have.
